
Professional Biography
Alex was born and raised on the North Shore of Greater Vancouver. He received his commerce degree and law degree from UBC in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Alex now calls the Sea-to-Sky Corridor home, having settled in Britannia Beach with his wife and two young children. Alex is an active member of the Britannia Beach Community Association and is proud to support his local community. Practicing primarily in commercial litigation, Alex does a variety of work. His focus is on business and real estate disputes, and he has extensive experience in strata law, construction, leases, shareholder disputes, employment law, insurance coverage, and debt collection. He also represents commercial and residential realtors, both generally and in connection with the BC Financial Services Authority. Alex has appeared in all three levels of court in BC. Alex articled at DuMoulin Boskovich LLP before joining the firm as an Associate in 2008. He has worked here for the entirety of his legal career. He is a passionate and effective litigator who doesn’t shy away from a fight in court, but he also recognizes the benefit of resolving disputes through mediation and negotiation where appropriate. In his spare time, Alex is an avid fisherman. He enjoys exploring and flyfishing the countless lakes of the BC interior, as well as targeting salmon and prawns in our coastal waters.
