
Professional Biography
Dan was born and raised in Saskatchewan. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree, he took a three-year hiatus from school to live and work in Japan, before earning a law degree in 1998. He articled in his home town and was called to the bar in 1999.
He moved to Vancouver in 2001 and has worked as a civil litigator ever since. He spent many years working on human rights and employment matters in Vancouver, mainly with a well-established not-for-profit law firm, advocating on behalf of disadvantaged clients bringing human rights complaints and administrative law cases.
He then relocated to the Okanagan in 2019, where he began a practice in insurance defence, employment law and administrative law.
Dan joined the team at Dumoulin Boskovich in 2025. His wide range of experience, friendly manner and practical approach serve his clients well in his general litigation practice. He recognizes that negotiated solutions are usually the best and most efficient outcomes, but by developing a full understanding of his clients’ needs, he understands there are times when Court is necessary. He is a talented and experienced litigator.
In his free time, Dan spends time with his young family. They enjoy skiing at Silver Star, hiking, and patios.
