
Professional Biography
Devon Lal was called to the B.C. Bar in 2021 and has been solely practicing Family Law since. He has a bachelors degree in psychology and obtained his LLB in Scots and English Law from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow Scotland.
Devon Specializes in Family Law litigation. He has resolved many files with various parenting disputes and has extensive experience litigating the various disputes that arise in Family Law in the B.C. Supreme Court and B.C. Provincial Court, both locally and out of town around the province. These issues include, guardianship, relocation, parenting time, child support, spousal support and division of family assets for clients coming from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. Devon has strong people skills which allows him to be proficient at out of Court resolution via mediation and old-fashioned negotiation with opposing counsels, reaching the outcomes desired by his clients. Devon's experience in the various forms of dispute resolution available to parties allows him to pursue a client-focused approach to resolving your legal issues.
