Jason is a quadruple-admitted lawyer, called to the bars of British Columbia and Ontario, who assists clients with corporate, commercial and estate matters. Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, and Teochew), he delivers practical, strategic, and results-oriented solutions across multiple jurisdictions and languages.
Now based in Vancouver, Jason brings over 13 years of experience as a barrister in Hong Kong and nearly two decades in corporate consultancy and accounting. With a strong financial and accounting background, he excels at analysing complex financial records, particularly in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, insolvency and corporate restructuring, international arbitration, shareholder disputes, estate planning, trusts and contentious probate, family equalization, tax planning, and anti-money laundering matters.
Outside of work, Jason is a devoted father who spends most of his time with his three young daughters. He enjoys golfing and flying radio-controlled model aircraft. Recognized by the international air-sports authority, he serves as a judge and technical expert in remote control helicopter aerobatics and contributed to the early development of miniature autonomous aircraft projects in the late 1990s. He is also an avid collector of over 2,000 scale model kits, alongside his growing collection of advanced degrees and legal qualifications.
