
Professional Biography
Richard moved to Canada from the United Kingdom in 1984. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Western Ontario in 1991, Richard worked in Yamagata, Japan teaching English. In 1995, he earned a Master’s Degree in Japanese Studies from the University of Essex in the UK. He returned to Canada, and in 1999, he received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia.
After practicing law in the Fraser Valley and Kelowna, Richard moved to Vernon in 2006 and became a partner at a prominent Vernon law firm. In August 2021, he joined DuMoulin Boskovich. Currently, he practices in the areas of personal injury litigation and commercial litigation. He has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia, including the Court of Appeal, and has completed numerous trials in both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
In his spare time, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children, as well as hiking, skiing, and playing squash. He is also a member of the Kalamalka Rotary Club.
